This short film gives an overview of how the Citizens Advice service can help young people to deal with the problems they face no matter how big or small. The young people in the film are volunteers acting out real life situations commonly dealt with by our Citizens Advice Bureaux. The other short film made by our Youth forum show how the Citizens Advice service can help young people who are struggling to manage money and debt problems.

Scooby tells how he got a £1 overdraft which accrued charges of around £600 because he ignored the letters. Adila is a shopaholic who has not been able to control her spending and has ‘maxed out’ her credit cards, overdraft and student loan. This project is funded by the HBOS Foundation. The young people were helped to produce the films by Bold Creative, www.boldcreative.co.uk.
